Calgary Crankmasters Cycling Club

Calgary’s friendliest cycling club caters primarily to adult (18+) road riders with some track cyclists. Crankmasters hosts regular rides on Saturday mornings and Monday evenings from May to September. They’re known for their legendary Wednesday Night Series (WNS) races, which you can learn more about on our Weekly Races page.

New for 2025:

The Calgary Crankmasters Race Team focusing on team racing at major Provincial events, and the continuing Crankmissus group – a women-only cycling group led by Dawn Heinemeyer with Sunday rides starting in late Spring.

Bow Cyclist Club

Founded in 2013, Bow Cyclist Club has grown to 300 members with a focus on “keeping the fun in cycling.” Their passionate ride leaders accommodate cyclists of all levels across road, gravel, and mountain biking disciplines.

Membership Benefits ($200)

Road Ride Groups:

A Group (29+ kph average), B Group (25-29 kph average), C Group (21-24 kph average)

Weekly Rides:

Monday evening No-Drop Road rides, Tuesday morning Road Rides, Tuesday evening MTB Rides

BiciSport Calgary Cycling Club

Originally founded by the Spokes Racing Team in 1988 and renamed “BiciSport Calgary Cycling Club” in 1992, this club is dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles and supporting all levels of bicycle racing. They’re particularly good for junior athletes while helping all members reach their full potential.

Organizes the annual Hay City Classic (May 3-4, 2025) and Bici Cross races

TCR Sport Lab Social Club

Dedicated to fostering a vibrant cycling community in Calgary through inclusive group rides that prioritize social connections and skill development.
