What a great cyclocross race we hosted on Saturday, thanks to all involved and the weather remaining good. We had over 300 racers which is one of the best turnouts for Beban Park. A muddy and tough course was appreciated by most, loved by many and probably loathed by some too.

NORM THIBAULT – for his amazing ability to organize behind the scene, set up on the day of and just keep everything so dialed. Thanks Norm!!

RON HEWITSON – MIVA’s Race Director once again calmly did all the necessary prep beforehand then organized all of us to set up, marshall and take down the course very efficiently Thanks again Ron, please keep it rolling.

RACERS – Thanks for making the effort to get here and for making this race a super fun, social and successful event. We look forward to seeing you back here next year. MIVA MEMBERS and ALL
VOLUNTEERS – Without the generous time given by many this race could not go off as well as it did. Many helped set up, marshal and did take down. To all of you who stepped up,(you know who you are) thank you!

PLEASE VOLUNTEER WHEN YOU CAN – As we look ahead to next year please be ready to volunteer when you can. I believe we need more people to step up as many of you are starting to get burnt out. If you are not racing in a series why not vollie now and then?
We will enjoy a profit from this race which helps fund most of our needs for putting on all of our other events throughout the year. More info. about the upcoming season will be rolled out soon in my next MIVA mail out.
